Why Your Defender Needs a Snorkel

The factory intakes sit low in the machine. Once water rises past them, the engine and the CVT start pulling in water instead of air. Water in the engine can bend a rod; water in the clutch housing ruins belts and leaves you stuck. A snorkel moves those openings up high, so the depth you can safely cross is limited by your tires and your nerve instead of your intake.

A Sealed System

The kit uses three risers between the back of the cab and the dump bed. Each riser connects to a high-pressure 2" coil hose, chosen because it resists punctures from sticks and debris and holds its shape so it won't collapse. High-quality check valves go on the factory vent lines so water can't climb back into those tubes. Every connection is meant to stay sealed, because one leak defeats the whole purpose.

Keeps the Defender Practical

Rear Windshield Compatibility
