The Can-Am Defender HD10's bed is built to haul, but once it's full you're out of room. The Outfitter Bed Rack adds an elevated cargo level above the bed, about 16 square feet of extra space, while leaving the bed underneath fully usable and the dump function working normally. It's a lightweight aluminum and steel rack set up for work gear, camping kits, recovery tools and hunting equipment.

Two Levels of Storage

Keep heavy, dirty items in the bed and use the rack for gear that needs to stay clean and organized. The bed rails keep cargo in place without collecting water, so the upper deck dries out fast after rain or washing.

Adapts to the Job

Switch between two locking basket positions for the setup that fits your load. Pull the front and rear panels when you need to carry lumber, ladders, fence rails or kayaks. The T-slot slats mount on either side of the side panels and work with D-rings, tie-downs, tool holders and hooks.

Build Your Rack

The option pickers let you add (each adds to the price):

• 2-pin wiring harness: a set of two extended LED cube light harnesses, about 20' of plug-and-play 18 AWG wire with waterproof connectors, so 2-row machines can reach the rear lights easily
• 1 shelf: an optional bed rack shelf for another layer of storage
• Cube lights: lights for the two recessed light locations

Loading Tips

• Keep the heaviest items low in the bed and lighter, bulky gear on the rack to keep the center of gravity down
• Respect the limits: 600 lb when parked, 200 lb while driving
• Use the T-slot D-rings and ratchet straps for anything that can shift, and cross straps over tall loads
• Pull the front and rear plates only when you need the length, then reinstall them
• Check clamps and bracket bolts after the first few rides and at each service

Good to Know

Aluminum keeps the rack light, so it adds storage without loading down the rear suspension much. Steel components are used where strength matters most, at the clamps and mounts.
