At the core of the Level 1 Kit are our Demon Heavy Duty Axles — developed through extensive R&D to outperform OEM without breaking the bank. These axles feature oversized CV joints and shafts, built from 4340 Chromoly Steel and enhanced with our dual heat treatment process for maximum strength and resilience. Whether you’re crawling over rocks or blazing through mud, Demon HD Axles are engineered to handle the abuse.
Each axle includes a double plunge design, allowing for increased articulation and greater suspension travel. The inboard CV joint delivers up to 1.5 inches of travel and 40° of articulation, while the outboard joint offers an impressive 45°–47° swing, depending on your model. This ensures smoother handling and consistent power delivery across rough terrain.
To withstand the toughest conditions, these axles are fitted with TPEE boots, which outperform standard rubber boots in temperature tolerance, puncture resistance, and fatigue life. We also use molybdenum-based grease to ensure low friction and long-lasting smooth operation.
