The Maverick R uses a mechanical steering system, and DRT's billet hex tie rods are made to match it. The 6061-T6 hex bar puts more material through the center of each rod for strength along the whole bar. They reuse the OEM inner and outer ball joints, so there are no new joints to buy.

Installation Notes
Move the OEM ball joints over to the DRT rods. Count the turns as you remove each OEM tie rod or rod end and copy that length so the toe stays close, then get a full alignment before you drive hard. Care: wash anodized aluminum with mild soap and water and avoid acidic or alkaline wheel cleaners, which can dull the finish.
