Cold-weather riding in a Can-Am Maverick X3 can go from crisp to miserable in a hurry, whether you're headed out to an ice fishing hole, hunting at first light, or plowing the drive. This in-dash cab heater mounts inside the dash and uses heat from the engine's coolant to warm the cab, with vents and hoses to defrost the windshield too. It's an IP67-rated unit with adjustable fan speeds, 360° adjustable vents, and up to 20,000 BTU at 135 CFM, and it comes with the hardware you need to install it.
What It Does
- Mounts in the dash
- Defrosts the windshield
- Keeps the cab comfortable
- Easy to install
Engine Heat, Put to Work
The heater pulls heat from the engine and blows it into the cab, so the cab stays warm as long as the engine is running. Adjustable fan speeds let you set how much air you want, and 360° adjustable vents let you aim it where you need it: hands, feet, or windshield. A built-in shutoff valve lets you stop coolant flow to the heater when you don't need heat.
A Clear, Ice-Free Windshield
Nobody wants to freeze their fingers scraping frost off a windshield. The heater includes the defrost hoses and vents to route warm air onto the glass, so you can clear it from the seat. That makes it a natural companion to a windshield and cab enclosure for winter riding.
Hoses Rated for Extreme Temperatures
The kit uses high-grade radiator hose rated from -40°F to 285°F, so it holds up whether the air outside is bitter cold or the engine is working hard. No matter how wild the weather gets, you can ride in comfort.
Installation Made Simple
Everything you need for a quick install is in the box: hoses, tubing, clamps, hose pliers, and more, plus instructions. You don't have to burn a day hunting down fittings.
Optional Upgrades for Faster Heat
Two add-ons are offered as separate options, and you can choose either or both.
Quick-Start Flow Valve
The quick-start flow valve cuts warm-up time in half. At low engine temperatures it sends all the engine coolant straight to the heater core, and once the engine warms up, the valve opens automatically to send coolant through the radiator too. You get heated air about twice as fast.
Idle Flow Pump
The idle flow pump actively pumps coolant at idle and low speeds, which raises heater temperatures when you're barely moving. It warms the heater up in under 30 seconds.
Combine the quick-start flow valve and the idle flow pump for the most heat as fast as possible when you're riding slow or sitting at idle, like when plowing or waiting at the trailhead.

Who It's For and What Pairs Well
This heater is for X3 owners who ride, hunt, fish, or work through the winter. A heater works best with the cab closed in, so pair it with a windshield from Can-Am Maverick X3 windshields, a roof from X3 roofs, and Maverick X3 doors. If you plow, see Maverick X3 snow plows.
