This steel bar tie rod kit gives the Can-Am Maverick X3 solid 1" diameter steel bar shafts that are far stronger than stock, plus heavy-duty heim joint outer ends and rebuildable inner ball and sockets. It's a stock-length replacement with on-the-fly toe adjustment, offered for 64" and 72" models and backed by a lifetime warranty on the tie rods.

Built Where Tie Rods Break

When a tie rod fails, the ends are almost always the culprit. This kit bulks them up with heavy-duty outer heim joint ends and rebuildable inner ball and sockets. Add a solid 1" steel bar between them, plainly bigger than the OEM part, and you've got tie rods built for the abuse hardcore riders dish out.

Steel Bar vs. Billet

Solid steel bar is the choice when you want brute strength at a lower cost than polished billet. Both use 3/4" threads and heim ends; the steel bar version trades the billet's shine for a tough, no-nonsense shaft.
