Factory tie rods on the KRX are a common breaking point on rocky trails. DRT's HD kit replaces the OEM rod ends with billet 6061-T6 tie rods that are stronger and lighter than stock. It works with the OEM M16 rack, and a proprietary inner ball joint seals the factory bellow so water, dirt and sand stay out of the rack.

Installation Notes
Works with the OEM M16 rack and replaces the OEM rod ends. Count the turns as you remove each OEM tie rod or rod end and copy that length so the toe stays close, then get a full alignment before you drive hard. After install, confirm every jam nut is tight and set with thread locker, and paint-mark each nut so movement is easy to spot. Inspect the jam nuts before every ride. Call DRT customer service or us with any install questions. Care: check the inner ball joint bellows for tears at every service, since a torn boot lets grit into the rack. Turn the steering lock to lock with the wheels off the ground to confirm clearance at full droop.
