DRT's Desert Runner fixed tire carrier moves the spare to the back of the car to help level and distribute weight, anchors to fixed chassis points and leaves the OEM storage box fully accessible. A rear pocket light base puts a chase light at the back-most point of the car, where it shows best through dust.

Installation Notes
Completely bolt-on with no cutting or drilling. Mount to the fixed chassis points, set the tire mount, then cut the T-handle to length. A jack mount is available: DRT offers an AGM jack mounting kit in electric (20005TC14101) or manual (20005TC15101) versions for riders who want a jack ready on the carrier. Because the carrier anchors to fixed chassis points instead of the cage, the spare's weight goes into the frame. Before ordering, measure your spare: the overall diameter must be within the carrier's stated capacity, and a mounted spare adds real weight up high, so check strap tension and hardware torque after the first ride and at every service.
