The air filter on a 2024+ Polaris RZR XP 1000 only protects the engine if the airbox around it is sealed. A tired or poorly fitting factory seal can let fine dust and water bypass the filter and go straight into the intake. This EPDM Rubber Airbox Seal replaces the stock seal with a tougher synthetic rubber that seals tight and stays that way.
Highlights
- Made of EPDM synthetic rubber
- Seals tighter than the factory airbox seal
- Heat and UV resistant for long life
- Keeps dust, water and grit out of the engine
Why EPDM
EPDM is the same kind of rubber used for automotive door and window seals because it handles heat, sun and weather without cracking or going hard. Engine heat, summer sun and extreme riding conditions won't break it down, so it seals just as well hundreds of rides from now as it does on day one.
Cheap Insurance for Your Engine
Dust that gets past the filter acts like sandpaper on the cylinder walls and rings. An airbox seal costs very little compared with an engine rebuild, and it's an easy upgrade to make the next time you service the air filter.

Who It's For and What Pairs Well
For any 2024+ RZR XP or XP 4 that sees dust, sand, water or mud. If you ride deep water, pair it with the Depth Finder snorkel kit in RZR XP 1000 2024+ engine and performance.
Fitment
| Year | Make | Model |
|---|---|---|
| 2024+ | Polaris | RZR XP 1000 |
| 2024+ | Polaris | RZR XP 4 1000 |
Installation Notes
Open the airbox, remove the old seal, clean the sealing surfaces and press the new seal into place. Check that the lid closes evenly all the way around. It takes only a few minutes and is a good habit to pair with every filter change.
