Built with the Right Parts
Every part, from the clamps to the seal, is chosen for durability and strength. A full-length foam gasket and bulb seal keep the windshield securely closed. Heavy-duty clamps and a metal cross brace give a tight fit that won't slip or rattle. XR Optic Hard Coating
This windshield is the scratch-resistant clear version, hard coated on both sides with the proprietary XR Optic coating. It protects against limbs, rocks, rooster tails and even your cleaning cloth, and its UV protection prevents sun spots, yellowing and fading no matter how much time you spend in the sun.
Half vs. Flip Windshields
A half windshield doesn't block your view, keeps wind and sand out of your face, and keeps strong airflow in hot climates. A flip windshield gives you full protection when closed and opens when you want airflow, which makes it great for changing seasons and a true year-round solution. Choose half for simplicity in the heat, and flip for full protection with instant adjustability.
How the Three Positions Ride
Closed, the panel seals against the foam gasket and bulb seal like a fixed full windshield, which is what you want for frosty mornings, rain and road sections. In the vented position the panel sits partly open, letting a breeze into the cab while still keeping most of the dust and spray off your face, which makes it a good everyday setting for trail days. Fully open, the gas struts hold it up out of the way and you get the wide-open feel of a half windshield for hot afternoons and slow technical riding. Because all three are a quick reach away, it's easy to change as the day warms up or clouds roll in.
