A cooler riding loose in the bed of a Polaris RZR XP 1000 is a cooler that ends up on its side, lid open, after the first fast corner. This bracket is sized for the 26 quart Ozark Trail High Performance Thermocooler and locks it to the bed so your drinks and lunch stay put, without a single bungee cord or ratchet strap. It fits the 2-seat XP 1000 and the 4-seat XP 4 1000.
Highlights
- Built for the Ozark Trail High Performance Thermocooler (26 quart)
- 3 mm carbon steel brackets
- UV-resistant powder coating to fight corrosion
- Weatherproof and installs in minutes
- Bolts to the bed with stock hardware, no drilling
Ditch the Bungee Cords
Straps stretch, slip and snap, and they never seem to hold a cooler tight when the trail gets rough. These heavy-duty steel brackets hold the Thermocooler firmly in place while you ride, so you can take sharp turns as fast as you want without losing your lunch across the trail.
Grab and Go
The mount doesn't permanently attach the cooler to the bed. The bracket lip hooks over the top edge of the cooler, so when you stop for a break you can lift it out and carry it to the tailgate or campsite. Taking it out also makes filling, draining and rinsing the cooler a lot easier than doing it in the bed.
What's in the Box
- Steel cooler mounting brackets (bed mount)
- Installation instructions
The cooler is not included. The bracket reuses your machine's stock hardware.
Who It's For and What Pairs Well
This is for RZR XP 1000 and XP 4 1000 owners who already have, or plan to pick up, the 26 qt Ozark Trail cooler and want an inexpensive way to carry it. If you'd rather run an insulated cargo box or a bed rack, see RZR XP 1000 cargo and storage (4-seat owners can browse RZR XP 4 1000 cargo and storage). Cutting engine heat into the bed with a padded heat shield helps keep the ice from melting so fast.
