The engine on a Polaris RZR XP 1000 sits right under the bed, and on a long, hot ride everything back there gets too hot to touch. This padded heat shield lays over the bed and blocks that heat from your cargo box, tools, cooler, and even the dog riding along. It also quiets the bed down and keeps cargo from bouncing around on rough trails. It fits the XP 1000 and XP 4 1000.

Save Your Cargo from Engine Heat

Engine placement isn't a problem until the bed is cooking whatever you put in it. The heat shield protects expensive cargo boxes and tools from that heat, and gives a furry riding buddy a cooler, more comfortable spot. Heat isn't the only thing it handles: the padding reduces noise and keeps your cargo from bouncing around on crazy rides.

Easy Cleanup

The trail gets messy, so cleanup is simple. Unzip the cover and remove the padding, scrub the cover with soap and water, then let it dry before sliding the padding back into the sleeve. It dries quickly, so you'll be back on the trail in no time.

Installation Notes

The mat lays in the bed. If you run a cargo box, cooler box or cooler mount on top of it, check the notes above: the cargo box needs a spacer, the 30 L cooler needs a 60 mm spacer and 75 mm bolt in place of its hardware, and the Ozark Trail cooler fits but bends its brackets slightly.
