Installation Notes
Remove the factory shield and bolt the DRT protector into its place. No drilling or modification. Confirm the fluid level is visible through the window afterward. Recheck the hardware after the first ride and at each service interval. Care: rinse off mud and road salt after rides and wash with mild soap. Touch up powder coat chips promptly so the metal underneath stays protected. Why it matters: the reservoir and master cylinder sit where brush and roost can reach them, and a cracked reservoir loses fluid and braking.
