Cab Heaters - Universal UTV

Plenty of side-by-sides never got a model-specific heater kit: older machines, smaller brands and custom builds. A universal coolant-fed cab heater lets you add real heat and windshield defrost to those machines, as long as there is room behind the dash for the heater core and duct runs.

Is a Universal Cab Heater Right for Your UTV?

  • Check dash space first. The core, fan and ducting have to fit behind or under the dash. Measure before you buy.
  • Plan the coolant tie-in. These heaters run off engine coolant, so you will splice into the coolant lines with the supplied hose and Y connectors.
  • Use a model-specific kit when one exists. If your machine has its own heater kit, it will bolt in with less fabrication.

Pairs Well With

A heater works best in a closed cab. Add a windshield, roof and doors or a soft cab enclosure to hold the heat in.
