The MaxDrive Power Flip Windshield lets a Can-Am Defender HD10 handle both: close it to stay dry and finish the job, open it for airflow when the sun comes back, or stop it anywhere in between, all from a rocker switch on the dash. It's made from tough 1/4" polycarbonate with a scratch-resistant hard coat on both sides.

Weather-Ready at the Flip of a Switch

Instead of stopping to unclamp and prop a manual flip windshield, you set the position on the move. Crack it open to clear fog, open it wide on a hot day, or close it when the rain starts.

Coated on Both Sides

Because the hard coat is on the inside and outside, wiping off mud or plowing through brush won't leave it streaky or scratched. Strong UV resistance helps prevent sunspots and yellowing from riding in the sun.

Polycarbonate or Glass Power Flip?

• Polycarbonate (this one): lighter, nearly unbreakable and lower cost; ideal around brush and branches
• Glass: the most scratch-resistant option and best with wipers, at more weight and cost

Where a Power Flip Windshield Shines

• Farm and ranch work: in and out of the cab all day, opening for air while you work, closing as you head down the road
• Hunting: open quietly for a clear view or a shot, close again for the cold ride out
• Plowing: close it to keep blowing snow out, open slightly to stop fog building on the inside
• Trail riding: close it on dusty stretches, open it on shaded, wet trails

Care and Maintenance

• Rinse grit off before wiping to protect the hard coat
• Wash with mild soap and water, dry with microfiber
• Keep the actuator connectors clean and check the bracket bolts after the first few rides
• Close the windshield fully before trailering at highway speed

Good to Know

The actuators draw power only while moving the windshield, so they won't drain the battery while parked. If you run an aftermarket intrusion bar, it must come off, since this windshield isn't compatible with one. If you plan to add a wiper, the glass power flip windshield is the better match, since wipers work best on glass.
