A long-travel kit changes how a Defender HD11 drives more than any other suspension upgrade. This Atlas Pro kit widens the HD11 by 4" per side, adds wheel travel to soak up rough ground, and moves the front wheels forward 1" so you can fit up to 35" tires without a lift. The result is a steadier, smoother, more capable machine for hard work and hard trails.

Why Go Long Travel?
- Stability: 8" more width keeps the HD11 planted on side hills and in ruts
- Comfort: more wheel travel smooths out bumps, washboard and rough pastures
- Tire room: 1" forward offset makes space for 35" tires with no lift
- Strength: heavier arms, tie rods and axles than stock
Atlas Pro A-Arms
Big tires and rough ground put serious stress on the arms. The Atlas Pro arms use 1.5" tubing with 1/4"-thick sidewalls on the structural tubes, so they hold up to hard work and aggressive riding. Double-bonded bushings come preinstalled and the pivot blocks are preset for proper camber.
Hex Aluminum Tie Rods
A wider stance and bigger tires need stronger steering. The solid billet hex aluminum tie rods are strong without extra weight, with chromoly monoball ends that adjust without disassembly. A steering stop kit is included.
Rhino 2.0 Axles
Four Rhino 2.0 axles with larger shafts and 4340 chromoly construction handle the extra width and travel. Their high-articulation design helps keep CV temperatures down as the suspension cycles.
Choose Your Options
- Model: Quick-4Lok or Smart-Lok, to match your HD11's front differential type - Need Preinstalled Ball Joints?: Super Duty 300M, Heavy-Duty 4340 Chromoly Steel, Keller Performance, or reuse your existing ball joints Preinstalled ball joints mean the press work is done before the kit ships.
Ball Joint Options Explained
- Heavy-Duty: 4340 VAR steel, zinc plated, adjustable, with grease zerks; about twice the strength of stock
- Super Duty 300M: 300M steel, adjustable steel-on-steel design, grease zerks; rated at 2.25 times stock
- Keller Performance: two-piece design that threads onto the arm with no snap ring, chromoly stud and tool-steel body, greaseable and rebuildable; requires 15" or larger wheels
Planning Your Build
- Pick tires up to 35" and wheels with the right offset
- Choose Keller ball joints only if you run 15" or larger wheels
- Check trailer width; the HD11 will be 73" wide
- Consider a frame stiffener and skid plate for a complete build
- Plan an alignment after installation

Built for Work and Play
The HD11 is often a work machine first: hauling feed, towing trailers and covering rough ground every day. A long-travel kit makes that work more comfortable and the machine more stable with a load in the bed, then turns it into a capable trail machine on the weekend. Every part in the kit is heavier than stock, so the added width doesn't come at the cost of durability.

Installation Notes
Plan a full day. Support the machine, remove the wheels, factory A-arms, tie rods and axles, then install the Atlas Pro arms, hex tie rods, Rhino 2.0 axles and steering stops. Torque all bolts with the suspension at ride height and get an alignment once everything settles. Recheck hardware after the first ride.
