The Maverick R's thin plastic steering adjustment lever (OEM 709402638 / 709403259) tends to break, leaving a wheel that will not lock in place or flops with no way to tighten it. DRT's replacement is 6061-T6 billet with a press-fit stainless steel locking cam gear for a positive lock. It is finished in mil-spec anodize with a laser-cut mesh panel to match DRT's other Maverick R parts.

Installation Notes
Remove the OEM lever and install the DRT lever in its place. Set the wheel position, lock it, and confirm it does not move before driving. Safety: torque every steering fastener to spec with medium threadlocker. Recheck the hub and wheel bolts after the first ride, and check that the wheel is centered and there is no free play before driving. Care: wash anodized aluminum with mild soap and water. Avoid acidic or alkaline cleaners, which dull the finish.
