The Can-Am Maverick X3 is a serious machine from the factory, but the stock front A-arms limit how much tire you can fit before rubbing. These high-clearance A-arms solve that with a 2" forward offset that moves the wheel ahead and opens up room for bigger rubber, up to 33" tires on 64" models and up to 37" tires on 72" models, all without a lift. The bent design adds 1.5" of ground clearance too, and the 1.25" DOM tubing is larger and much stronger than stock.
Highlights
- 2" forward offset that creates room for larger tires
- High-clearance bends that help the front end clear logs and rocks
- Oversized steel tubing that is stronger than stock
- Vehicle-specific fit for an easy, secure install
- Lifetime A-arm warranty
Big Tires Without a Lift Kit
This is the main reason to buy these arms. Pushing the wheel 2" forward gives the tire space it doesn't have with OEM arms, so you can go up to 33" tires on a 64" X3 or all the way to 37" tires on a 72" X3 and still keep the factory ride height. That's the difference between a trail machine and one that walks through ruts, rock gardens, and deep mud that stop everyone else.
1.5" More Ground Clearance
Instead of a flat, straight arm hanging low under the hub, these arms use a high-clearance bend that lifts the arm itself 1.5" higher. Logs, ledges, and boulders that would catch a stock arm slide underneath, and you keep momentum instead of getting hung up.
1.25" DOM Tubing, Built to Last
The arms are built from 1.25" x .138" wall DOM steel tubing, larger than stock and far stronger. They're made for the impacts that come with big tires and hard riding, and a UV-resistant powder coat protects them from corrosion and fading. Every arm is backed by a lifetime warranty, so they're meant to be the last set of front arms your X3 needs.
Camber Adjustment for Bigger Tires
The arms come set to stock specs, so you can bolt them on and ride. Once you mount those larger tires, add a lift kit, or carry a lot of extra weight, the adjustable upper pivot blocks let you dial in camber exactly. Getting camber right keeps the tires wearing evenly so they last longer.
Preinstalled Ball Joint Options
Pick a ball joint in the options and it comes installed in the new arms, which saves you a trip to the press and gets you on the trail sooner. If you don't pick one, you'll need to reuse your stock ball joints.
Super Duty 300M
300M grade steel is about the strongest material used in a ball joint, and this design is engineered around it. You get an easy-to-reach grease zerk and an adjustable steel-on-steel design for simple upkeep, with strength rated at 2.25x stock.
Heavy-Duty 4340 Chromoly Steel
These use hardened 4340 VAR steel with zinc plating, so they're ready for jumps and hill climbs. Grease zerks are easy to reach and the design is adjustable. Lab and field testing shows they withstand twice the pressure of an OEM ball joint.
Keller Performance
A two-piece design with no snap ring. The Keller joint threads onto the arm like a nut and bolt, so it's virtually impossible to pull out. A chromoly steel stud and tool-steel body make it a great match for big tires and big machines, and it's greaseable and rebuildable.
Standard Duty
A standard duty ball joint is also offered as a preinstalled option.
Forward Offset A-Arm Questions
How big a tire can I run?
Up to 33" tires on 64" models and up to 37" tires on 72" models, according to the listed specs. Choose the arm width that matches your machine in the options.
Do these work with Smart-Shox?
No. They are not compatible with Smart-Shox models.
Do they come with bushings?
No. Reuse your OEM bushings if they're still in good condition, or press in new aftermarket bushings during the install.
Will I need to adjust camber?
Not at stock height with stock tires. When you step up to bigger tires or a lift, use the adjustable pivot blocks to set camber.

Who They're For and What Pairs Well
These arms are for X3 owners chasing a big-tire stance without lifting the machine. Bigger tires put more stress on the driveline, so look at Can-Am Maverick X3 axles built for oversized tires, and stronger Maverick X3 ball joints.
