Big lifts and big tires on a Can-Am Maverick X3 put loads on the ball joints that stock parts were never built for, and a broken ball joint at speed is one of the worst failures you can have. Mega Keller ball joints are the answer for riders who want the strongest front end possible. They have the biggest housings and toughest studs available, a two-piece threaded design with no snap ring, and they're greaseable, adjustable, and rebuildable. They're so big that the A-arms must be modified to fit them.
Why They're the Toughest
- Maximized studs and housings for industry-leading strength
- 4340 hardened chromoly steel construction
- Two-piece threaded design with no snap ring
- Easily adjustable, rebuildable, and greaseable
- Robust boot retaining ring prevents water intrusion
A Two-Piece Design With Mega Strength
Todd Keller came up with the two-piece design to get rid of the flimsy snap ring found on most ball joints. The Mega version takes that design and maximizes everything for sky-high strength, making it the choice for riders who will do whatever it takes to build the strongest machine possible.
No Comparison to OEM
The housings are made much bigger than OEM to make room for a massive ball and stud, the biggest you can get. Tough tool steel housings and advanced chromoly studs add even more strength. Because of that size, the A-arms have to be modified to accept them. If you need a ball joint that will get you through anything, this is it.
Threads In Like a Nut and Bolt
Size isn't the only advantage. The threaded two-piece setup threads into the modified A-arm like a nut and bolt, so it's virtually impossible to pull out. It's greaseable and adjustable, and with proper maintenance you can keep them running like new for years.
Go Big Without the Breakdowns
A big lift and big tires are a blast, except for all the trips to replace ball joints. Put Mega Kellers on the X3 and ride the way you want with the upgrades you want. Without a snap ring to fail, broken ball joints become a thing of the past.
Ordering
Choose the location and quantity you need: a single upper or lower joint, an upper and lower pair, or a full set of 2 uppers and 2 lowers for both sides of the front end.

Installation
Mega ball joints require modifying the A-arms before installation. If you're not set up to do that work, consider a standard-size Keller or heavy-duty ball joint instead.
