The trailing arms on a Can-Am Maverick X3 hang low behind the rear wheels, and rocks and logs love to chew them up. One bad hit can bend an arm and end the ride. These trailing arm guards wrap the bottom of the OEM trailing arms with 1/2" thick UHMW held in a hardened aluminum frame, so the arms slide over boulders instead of catching on them. They're offered for 64" and 72" models.

UHMW Makes It Smooth
The bottom of each guard is lined with a 1/2" thick UHMW panel. UHMW is extremely durable and very slick, so instead of grinding into a rock, the guard slides off it. The hardware is countersunk flush with the surface, so there are no bolt heads to snag on logs or jagged rocks.
Hardened Aluminum Frame
The UHMW needs a strong structure behind it, and that's the job of the hardened aluminum frame. It keeps heavy impacts from tearing the guard off the arm. Each frame is CNC laser cut, bent on a brake press for a brawny look, and finished in premium powder coat for durability.
