Flex Instead of Failure

Lifted machines on big tires put enormous torque spikes through the axles when a tire hooks up mid-air or catches a ledge. When an X300 takes a hit that would break other axles, the 300M shaft twists until the load passes and then returns to its original shape. That Flexshaft technology relieves much of the stress that would otherwise go into the CVs and differential, so critical drivetrain parts see less wear and tear.
