DRT's debris shield kit (patent pending) mounts to the rear trailing arms of the Pro R and shields the inside of the 15-inch rear wheel with 1/4-inch UHMW panels, held by laser-cut, welded steel brackets.

Installation Notes
Bolts to the rear trailing arms with minor drilling. Check clearance to the wheel and caliper through full suspension travel before you ride. Recheck the hardware after the first ride and at each service interval. Care: UHMW needs only a rinse. Inspect the shields for deep gouges at each service. Why it matters: a rock wedged between the caliper and the inner barrel can gouge the wheel, bend caliper hardware or lock the wheel at speed. UHMW is slick and impact resistant, so debris tends to slide off instead of packing in. Check the shields for wear when you rotate tires or service the rear brakes.
