Burying a Polaris RZR XP 1000 in thick mud or swamp water is a blast right up until water gets sucked into the engine or clutch. The stock intakes sit low, and it doesn't take much depth to flood them. The Depth Finder Snorkel Kit raises the engine air intake and the clutch intake and outlet up out of the water and seals the air box and clutch housing, so you can take on mud pits, rivers and deep holes with far less risk. It fits the XP 1000 and XP 4 1000 (not High Lifter models).

Insurance for Deep Riding
The RZR XP 1000 wasn't built to go deep. A snorkel moves the air pickup points high enough that the engine, clutch and crankcase stay dry while the rest of the machine is under water. It's the best insurance you can buy if you like pushing your machine to its muddy, watery limits.
A Complete Kit
Everything you need is in the box. Heavy-duty risers lift the intake and outlet, faceplates finish them off, and closed-cell silicone sponge gaskets keep the whole system watertight. The kit also replaces the gas tank vent hose and includes a heater tube and riser mounting brackets.
Not Your Average Gaskets
A snorkel is only as good as its seals. This kit uses closed-cell silicone sponge gaskets on the air box, clutch housing and clutch backing plate. Closed-cell foam doesn't absorb water the way open-cell foam does, so the seals stay tight no matter how often you go swimming in your favorite bounty hole.
Long Vent Hoses
Vent lines are an easy way for water to get in. The extra-long hoses run their ends up high, so water that gets into the lines is captured instead of reaching the components they vent.

Installation Notes
Route all risers and vent hoses as shown in the guide below, and check every gasket and clamp before your first deep crossing. After deep riding, check the air box and clutch housing for any moisture.
