A half windshield is the right answer for Polaris RZR XP 1000 riders who like the open-cab feel but are tired of sticks, bugs and roost hitting them in the chest. This one has a forward-facing lip that routes air up and over the cab, and a low profile that keeps your view of the trail wide open. It's 1/4" polycarbonate, far stronger than glass or acrylic, and fits both the XP 1000 and XP 4 1000.

Protection Without Closing In the Cab
Each windshield is tough polycarbonate with a bottom seal contoured to the RZR's hood. The 1/4" material, available tinted or non-tinted, is much stronger than an average UTV windshield and stops sticks and flying debris before they reach you and your passenger.
Scratch-Resistant Polycarbonate
The scratch-resistant version is 1/4" polycarbonate hard coated on both sides for years of use. It's 250 times stronger than glass and nearly as abrasion resistant as glass, so it can take hits from rocks, bushes and branches without scratching or scuffing.
Standard Polycarbonate
If you don't need the extra coating, the standard polycarbonate version is still 1/4" thick and effectively unbreakable, and it keeps debris out of the cab. It's a good fit for casual riders who just want protection from the elements.

This is for riders who want some protection but still want the wind. If you ride in cold or wet weather, a full, vented or flip windshield from RZR XP 1000 windshields (4-seat: RZR XP 4 1000 windshields) closes things up more.
