Polaris RZR XP 1000 & XP 4 1000 Full Windshield, 1/4" Polycarbonate, Clear or Tinted

Cold mornings, rain, snow and the mud thrown off the front tires all hit you square in the face in an open Polaris RZR XP 1000. A full windshield takes all of that out of the ride, and this one does it with 1/4" polycarbonate that's 250 times stronger than glass. It comes with the bulb seal already installed and clamps on rattle-free, then comes off in a minute or two when the weather warms up. It fits the XP 1000 and XP 4 1000 and works with most soft and hard tops.

Each windshield is made in-house so it fits the RZR XP 1000 precisely. The full-length rubber bulb seal comes preinstalled, and secure clamps give you a snug, rattle-free fit that keeps the elements from sneaking in around the edges. Full vs. Flip Windshields

A full windshield gives maximum cab coverage and dust control, works best in cold weather, rain and on road sections, and is compatible with wipers and defrosters. A flip windshield switches between full, vented and open positions for variable weather and technical trails, but has a little more maintenance because of its seals and hinges. Choose full for set-and-forget protection and wiper compatibility; choose flip for instant airflow control.

Picking the Right Panel

Standard clear polycarbonate is the budget pick and is just as impact resistant, but it scratches more easily, so it suits riders who mostly see pavement, gravel roads and light trail. If you ride dusty trails, brush or sand, the hard-coated scratch-resistant panels are worth the upgrade because grit and branches won't haze them nearly as quickly. Light tint takes the edge off glare on bright days, and dark tint is the choice for desert and summer riding when the sun is in your eyes all afternoon. Clear stays the easiest to see through at dusk and at night with lights on.

Keeping It Clear

Wash dust off with lots of water first so you aren't dragging grit across the panel, then use a soft microfiber cloth and mild soap. Avoid ammonia glass cleaners and shop rags on any polycarbonate, hard coated or not.

Who It's For and What Pairs Well

This is for RZR owners who ride in cold or wet weather, hunt, or spend time on road sections. Close off the back of the cab with a rear windshield from RZR XP 1000 windshields (4-seat: RZR XP 4 1000 windshields) to stop dust suction, and add a roof from RZR XP 1000 roof tops. For true winter riding, doors from RZR XP 1000 doors complete the enclosure.
