The stock transmission bearings in a Polaris RZR XP Turbo S are a known weak spot. When one overheats and fails, it can take the gears and the case with it. This Premium Transmission Bearing Upgrade Kit replaces them with NACHI bearings made from Japanese steel, and adds an angular-contact thrust bearing where the idler shaft pushes hardest.
Highlights
- Complete transmission bearing set from NACHI
- Angular-contact thrust bearing prevents the common idler shaft failure
- Japanese steel with micron-accurate quality control
- Optional seal kit for a complete refresh
Why the Thrust Bearing Matters
Every time you hit the throttle, the idler shaft gets pushed against its bearing. A standard OEM ball bearing isn't designed for that sideways load, so it heats up and fails. An angular-contact thrust bearing is built to carry exactly that kind of force, which protects the idler shaft and the rest of the transmission.
Quality You Can Measure
NACHI makes its bearings from Japanese steel and checks them to micron-level tolerances, so every bearing fits correctly and runs smoothly. If you push your Turbo S hard, this kit keeps the transmission running smooth ride after ride.
Add the Seal Kit
If the transmission is apart anyway, don't reuse old, hardened seals. The seal kit option replaces the axle input, clutch input and front output seals for a complete job that lasts.
Signs of Transmission Bearing Trouble
- A growl or whine from the transmission that changes with speed
- Metal flakes or glitter in the drained transmission oil
- Notchy or grinding shifts
Fitment Notes
- Compatible with OEM transmissions only

Who It's For and What Pairs Well
For riders rebuilding a stock transmission or planning bigger tires, portals or a tune. While the drivetrain is apart, look at clutch upgrades in RZR Turbo S clutch parts and axles in RZR Turbo S axles.

Installation Notes
This is a transmission teardown job for an experienced mechanic or shop. The transmission must be removed and split, bearings pressed out and in, and the case resealed. Follow the instructions and torque specs carefully.
