A standard sway bar link is a solid rod, so every bump that hits one rear wheel gets passed across the machine. This Sway Bar Shock for the Polaris RZR XP Turbo replaces a standard link with one that has internal shock-absorbing springs. It extends and compresses with the sway bar, giving the rear suspension more articulation and a smoother ride on any terrain.
Highlights
- Internal shock-absorbing springs for a smoother ride
- Better rear suspension articulation
- Hardened 4140 steel with black nitride coating
- M12 x 1.25 threads
- Easy bolt-on install using stock hardware
- Sold individually
How It Works
Fixed links don't allow much movement, so you feel every bump and imperfection. The springs inside this link let it stretch and compress as the sway bar moves. The bar still controls body roll, but the small, sharp hits are soaked up before they reach the cab.
One or Two?
One sway bar shock is enough to make a noticeable difference, which is why they're sold individually. For more aggressive riding, like very hilly trails or extreme rock crawling, installing two gives you the smoothest ride possible.
Built to Last
The link is hardened 4140 steel with a black nitride coating for wear and corrosion resistance. Installation is quick: bolt it between the sway bar and the trailing arm using the included bushings and your stock hardware.
Which Side?
With a single shock, install it on either side in place of one standard link; the bar still connects to the other side solidly, and the spring link takes the edge off sharp, one-wheel hits. Riders who crawl rocks or ride steep, uneven ground get the most benefit from running a pair, one on each side. Check the bushings at each service and replace them when they show cracking or play.
