A quick release makes getting in and out easier, and you can take the wheel with you when the machine is parked as a theft deterrent. DRT's universal 6-bolt quick release is forged and certified to SFI Spec 42.1. Its patented ball-bearing lock holds the wheel firmly without the slop of some designs and, unlike splined units, does not jam from sand, dirt or mud. It adds 2.0 in between hub and wheel.

Installation Notes
Bolt the quick release to the hub and the wheel to the quick release. Pull hard on the wheel to confirm it is locked before every drive. Safety: torque every steering fastener to spec with medium threadlocker. Recheck the hub and wheel bolts after the first ride, and check that the wheel is centered and there is no free play before driving.
