The HD5 is the smallest engine in the Defender lineup, and the factory calibration doesn't give it much room to breathe. The Dynojet Power Vision 3 reflashes your HD5's ECU with a tune that lifts the speed and rev limiters and adds ignition timing, so the little Defender has more punch when you press the pedal. It plugs straight into the diagnostic port. No screwdriver, no cut wires, and you can flash it back to stock whenever you want.
What Changes After the Flash
- More top end. Raised speed and rev limiters let the HD5 keep pulling instead of hitting the factory wall.
- A little extra horsepower. Timing tweaks in the preloaded tune pull out more power without touching the engine.
- Two-foot driving. Use brake and throttle together without the ECU cutting power. That helps when you're holding the machine on a slope or feathering through tight timber.
- Lower fan temperatures. The fan kicks on earlier, which keeps the engine cooler during slow, hot work.
- Faster limp mode. If the machine ever drops into limp mode, it can still get you home at a more useful speed.
- Reversible. Your stock file is saved, so you can return to the factory calibration at any time.
Live Data on a Bright Screen
The full-color display is easy to read in daylight and shows RPM, coolant temperature, wheel speed and other key readings while you ride. Leave it connected and it doubles as a dash gauge and data logger. When you get home, load the logs into the included Power Core software to see how your HD5 is running, or start building custom tunes as you add parts like a clutch kit or bigger tires.

Before You Order
Each Power Vision 3 pairs to the ECU it flashes first and can't be reset or used on a second machine. That means ECU tuners are non-returnable. Confirm your model year and trim against the chart above, and contact us if you have any questions.

Install Notes
Plug the tuner into the Defender's diagnostic connector, follow the on-screen prompts and select install. The process takes a few minutes. Afterward, leave it plugged in for live readings or tuck it away until you need it.
