A dead battery can end a trail day before it starts. When your Maverick Trail's battery won't hold a charge, replace it with a Motobatt AGM that outperforms the factory unit. It's rated at 21 amp-hours and 320 cold-cranking amps, about 20% more than OEM on both counts. That means stronger starts and more reserve for lights, radios and other accessories.
What Makes It Better
- 21 Ah and 320 CCA, roughly 20% more capacity and cranking power than OEM.
- Heavy-duty lead-calcium grids strengthen the plates for long-term durability.
- AGM separators protect the plates from vibration and impacts, which is important on a narrow trail machine that spends its life bouncing over roots and rocks.
- Multi-terminal posts make it easy to add accessories without crowding the main connections.
- Factory activated. Check the charge, drop it in and ride.
- 12-month full replacement warranty from Motobatt.

Tips for a Longer Battery Life
Trail machines often sit for weeks between rides, and that's what really kills batteries. A slow drain from a clock, GPS or stereo can pull a battery down far enough to damage it. If your Maverick Trail sits between weekends, hook up a battery maintainer or disconnect the negative cable. Keep the terminals clean and tight, too. Loose connections cause hard starts that often get blamed on the battery.

Who It's For
Maverick Trail owners with a weak or dead battery, and riders who've added a light bar, stereo, radio or winch. More capacity gives you more room to run accessories with the engine off at camp or on a lunch stop. See more Maverick Trail electrical parts and Maverick Trail sound systems.
Install Notes
Charge the battery first, then remove the old one by disconnecting the negative cable followed by the positive. Set the Motobatt in the tray, connect positive first and then negative, and secure the hold-down. The job takes just a few minutes with basic hand tools.
