The two-piece billet tool threads into the center of the secondary clutch, and the roller handle glides on the anodized plate to separate the clutch smoothly. Installation Notes
With the engine off and cool, remove the CVT cover, thread the tool into the center of the secondary clutch, and roll the handle on the plate to open the sheaves. Swap the belt, back the tool out, and reinstall the cover. Break in a new belt as the belt maker recommends. Good to know: practice a belt change at home once so you know the steps before you need to do it on the trail. Clean dust out of the clutch while it is open, and inspect the sheaves for glazing or wear.
