The X3 front A-arm mounts are single shear from the factory, and that is where hard landings and square-edge hits do damage. DRT's gusset kit converts every upper and lower control arm mount to double shear. DRT says that makes the front end nearly twice as strong and gives it a tighter feel.

Installation Notes
DRT publishes an installation guide for the CAX3GK1. Support the front of the car and work one mount at a time so the A-arms stay located. Torque the A-arm bolts to factory spec. Touch up powder coat chips to prevent rust.
