Push an X3 hard at speed and the front shock tower brace takes a beating. It is a common failure point. The CAX3ST1 is machined from one solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum, thicker and with closer tolerances than stock, and is left raw to show the billet finish.

Installation Notes
Unbolt the factory brace with the front supported and bolt the DRT brace into the same location. Torque to factory spec and recheck after the first ride. Raw aluminum can be polished or left natural; wash with mild soap and water. Check the brace mounting bolts again at each service interval, and after any hard landing.
