The Gator XUV 550, 590i and 850i are compact, nimble Deeres that see a lot of trail and chore duty. This kit pairs the Viper MA11991 mount plate made for these Gators with a Viper V3 winch, so the plate, winch, rope and controls ship together. Choose the 4,500 lb standard spool or the 6,000 lb wide spool; the plate takes both.

4,500 or 6,000 lb?
- V3 4,500 standard spool: lighter and shorter, with 40 ft of rope. Plenty for self-recovery and lifting a Denali plow on most machines.
- V3 6,000 wide spool: adds $80, a wider drum and 60 ft of rope. A good pick for heavier machines, crew cabs with a loaded bed, or anyone who winches other people out.
Small Gator Notes
- The 4,500 lb standard spool is a good match for the light XUV 550 and 590i.
- Pick the 6,000 lb wide spool for the 850i if you work it hard or pull other machines.
- Keep a recovery strap and shackle in the bed so the winch always has an anchor.
- Check the battery terminals for corrosion before connecting the winch leads.

Installation Notes
Bolt the MA11991 plate in with the supplied hardware, following the PDF below. Mount the V3, find a dry spot for the contactor, and route the cables to the battery clear of heat and moving parts. Do a short test pull, then re-spool the rope under light tension.
