How much fun you have in a Polaris RZR XP 1000 depends on how long you can keep the pedal down, and that depends on staying in control. These billet aluminum hex tie rods replace the flimsy stock rods with polished 6061-T6 hex bars and oversized chromoly ends, so the steering stays tight and true while the machine gets a look that turns heads, even under a coat of mud. Versions fit the XP 1000, XP 4 1000, High Lifter and Trails & Rocks editions.
Highlights
- Stock-length replacement
- Made with 6061-T6 billet aluminum hex bar
- Oversized 14 mm chromoly steel monoball tie rod ends and inner ball and sockets
- M14x1.5 threads
- Adjustable on the fly
- Works with OEM or RackBoss 2.0 racks (see fitment)
Warning: Gawker Magnet
Expect people to stop and look. The hexagonal rods look menacing and the polished billet catches every eye in the parking lot. If you'd rather blend in, these aren't for you; if you want style that stands out, they are.
Strength Without the Weight
No corners were cut on strength. The 6061-T6 billet rods give the steering very high strength at a very low weight. Oversized 14 mm chromoly heim joints and inner ball and sockets maximize strength and get rid of shaky steering, and they hold up for years of hard riding.
Easy Installation and Adjustment
Everything you need is in the kit, from boots and zip ties to heavy-duty ends, and it installs quickly on a stock or RackBoss 2.0 rack and pinion. Adjusting toe is simple: loosen the jam nuts and turn the rod.
Choose Your Kit
Select your model (RZR XP 1000, XP 1000 High Lifter Edition, XP 1000 Trails & Rocks Edition, XP 4 1000, or XP 4 1000 High Lifter Edition) and year. On 2019-2023 standard XP 1000 and XP 4 1000 models, the kit ships as the RackBoss 2.0 billet hex version (TRRA-P-RZRTM16-B) with 3/4" ends, which is why that option is priced higher.

Who It's For and What Pairs Well
This kit is for owners who want stronger steering that looks as good as it works. For the absolute toughest setup, pair it with a RackBoss 2.0 rack and pinion from RZR XP 1000 steering parts (4-seat: RZR XP 4 1000 steering parts). Billet radius arms from RZR XP 1000 radius arms carry the same hex look to the rear suspension.
