Stock rear radius rods on a Polaris RZR XP 1000 are thin, they hang low, and one solid rock strike can bend them and knock the rear toe out of alignment. These High Clearance Boxed Radius Arms are rated 4x stronger than stock, use a boxed, hand-welded steel design that leaves out the shear points and weak spots of the factory rods, and ride higher to clear more of the trail. They fit the 2014-2023 XP 1000 and XP 4 1000 and come in five colors.

Smarter, Stronger and Sleeker
These arms were engineered for all-out strength and long life. The boxed shape combines sharp angles with serious structure, so you can see how tough they are just by looking at them, and the rider behind you gets something to look at besides your dust.
Strength Through Design
Strength came first, but not at the cost of function. The pivot blocks are welded and reinforced to the heavy-duty steel arms, and the arms use a monoball-style bushing that pivots within the joint. That gives better wear characteristics, fewer points of failure, and a radius rod that's built for battle.
Better Bushings
The bushings are precisely machined zinc-plated carbon steel that pivots inside the housing. Letting the bushing move in the housing reduces the wear that normally eats steel bushings, and the zinc plating protects them from corrosion, which makes them close to indestructible.
Boxed Arms vs. Stock Rods
Factory radius rods are slim tubes that bend when they take a direct hit from a rock or stump. Once one is bent, the rear wheel steers slightly on its own, which shows up as wandering at speed and uneven tire wear. A boxed arm with a high-clearance profile both sits up away from obstacles and resists bending when it does get hit, so your rear alignment stays where you set it.
Clearance for Rocks and Ruts
The high-clearance shape gives more room under the rear suspension, so you can roll over rocks, ruts and trail debris that would catch stock arms. That means fewer hang-ups on rocky or rutted trails and a smoother ride.
Lifts and Big Tires
The arms are designed to keep proper rear suspension geometry and add clearance, so they suit more aggressive setups. Many riders pair them with lifts and larger tires to get the most capability out of the machine without giving up strength.
Adjustable Heims and Rear Toe
Rear toe on the XP 1000 is set by the length of the radius arms. The adjustable heim joints on these arms let you dial that length in precisely, which is handy after a lift, after swapping trailing arms, or when you want to fine-tune how the rear end tracks. Too much toe-out makes the back of the machine feel loose and wandering at speed, while too much toe-in scrubs the rear tires. Getting it right makes the RZR more stable and helps tires last longer.
Keeping Them in Shape
Steel arms with pivoting bushings are low maintenance, but a quick check now and then keeps them that way. After hard rides, look the arms over for impact marks, make sure the heim jam nuts are still tight, and check for play at the bushings by rocking the wheel with the machine on a stand. Rinse mud and sand out of the pivots when you wash the machine. Because the arms are backed by a lifetime warranty, you can ride them hard knowing they're covered.
Why Hand Welding Matters
Each arm is hand welded, which lets the welder lay a full bead along every seam of the boxed structure. Combined with the reinforced pivot blocks, that's a big part of how the arms reach their 4x-stock strength rating.
Color Choices
Choose black, Lime Squeeze, orange, red or Voodoo Blue. Voodoo Blue and Velocity Blue do not match Polaris Sky Blue.

Who It's For and What Pairs Well
These are for rock, woods and rutted-trail riders who keep bending stock radius rods, and for lifted or big-tire builds. They will not fit with OEM rear bumpers or any bumper that mounts the same way, so look at aftermarket rear bumpers in RZR XP 1000 bumpers. Pair them with boxed rear trailing arms in RZR XP 1000 trailing arms, a lift from RZR XP 1000 lift kits, and heavy-duty axles from RZR XP 1000 axles and CVs. 4-seat owners: RZR XP 4 1000 radius arms.
Fitment
| Year | Make | Model |
|---|---|---|
| 2014-2023 | Polaris | RZR XP 1000 |
| 2014-2023 | Polaris | RZR XP 4 1000 |
Note: Will not fit with OEM rear bumpers or any other bumper that mounts the same way the OEM bumper does.
Installation Notes
Installation is straightforward with the included hardware and the guide below. Set each arm's heim joint to the length of the stock rod it replaces before bolting it in, so the rear toe starts close to factory. Then check alignment and adjust the heims as needed, and tighten the jam nuts. Re-check torque on the pivot bolts and jam nuts after the first ride.
