A good weekend in a Polaris RZR XP 1000 means going deep in a mud hole, and it goes bad fast when the radiator packs full of crud and the machine drops into limp mode from overheating. Don't be the rider holding up the line every five minutes to cool down. This kit moves the radiator up onto the cage over the bed, where it's out of the mud, easy to clean and nearly impossible to puncture. It fits the XP 1000 and XP 4 1000 (not High Lifter models).
Highlights
- Relocates the radiator to behind the cab
- Low-profile design doesn't block your rear view
- Keeps the radiator safe and clean
- Keeps the cab cooler
- Mounts to factory bolt locations with steel plates
- Straightforward installation
A More Protected Radiator
Mounted on the cage over the bed, the radiator sits where you can see over it, where it doesn't fill up with mud and grass, and where a stick or rock can't easily punch through it. That keeps the machine cool no matter what you bury it in, so you can go neck deep all weekend long.
A Cooler Cab Too
Moving the radiator behind you means hot coolant lines don't have to run through the cab area, which helps keep you cooler as well as the engine.
Unobstructed Rear View
Some rear relocation kits block your entire view. This one uses a low-profile design so you can still see behind you while the radiator gets maximum airflow. You get a cool-running machine without feeling like the setup compromises your ride.
Better Cooling Than a Hood Mount
Hood-mounted kits lay the radiator flat, where it cools inefficiently. Mounting at the rear allows a more vertical position, which cools better while still keeping the view clear. Safe from damage, safe from clogging and a cooler cab: that's a win, win, win.

Who It's For and What Pairs Well
This kit is for mud riders and anyone who keeps packing the front radiator with debris. It is not compatible with a rear windshield or a rear cargo/cooler box, so plan the rest of the bed and cab around it. Pair it with a heavy-duty aluminum radiator and a snorkel kit from RZR XP 1000 performance parts (4-seat: RZR XP 4 1000 performance parts), and keep mud out of the cab with inner fender guards from RZR XP 1000 body parts.

Installation
Relocating a radiator sounds like a big job, but the straightforward design and easy-to-follow instructions keep it as simple as possible. The kit mounts to factory bolt locations with steel plates. Plan to drain and refill the cooling system and bleed the air out when you're done. Instructions are below.
