Sidewinder A-Arms are for the Polaris RZR XP 1000 owner who wants the front end to look as tough as it is. The tapered boxed shape is unlike any stock arm, and underneath the looks is 1/8" advanced alloy steel plate, a 1.5" forward offset with room for up to 34" tires, and high-clearance bends that add 1.5" of ground clearance. They fit the 2014-2023 XP 1000 and XP 4 1000, with year-specific versions and optional preinstalled ball joints.
Highlights
- Forward-offset design adds 1.5" for extra tire clearance and a longer wheelbase

- Advanced alloy steel, 1/8" plate, stands up to hard trail impacts
- Adds 1.5" of ground clearance
- Fits up to 34" tires
- Adjustable upper pivot block for full camber adjustability
- UHMW bushings included at no extra cost
- UV-resistant powder coat finish
- Backed by a lifetime A-arm warranty
A Front End That Gets Noticed
Everyone brings something to the trail to show off. The tapered box construction and the nameplate on each arm make these the most aggressive-looking A-arms you can put on an RZR, and nobody is going to mistake them for stock. They tell everyone around you that you came to get things done.
Clearance to Ride the Way You Want
High-clearance bends give 1.5" more space under the arms than stock, so you're not banging into every rock. The 1.5" forward offset adds tire clearance, with room for up to 34" tires, so you can move up to more capable tires without raising the center of gravity with a lift. The longer wheelbase also steadies the machine on hills and big obstacles.
Strength You Can Brag About
The arms are skinned in 1/8" advanced alloy steel plate, which acts like armor in nasty pileups and hard hits. They've been through many hours of lab and field testing and finished with a UV-resistant powder coat for extra durability. If you somehow break them, they're backed by a lifetime warranty.
Adjustable Pivot Blocks for Camber Control
The pivot blocks come set to stock dimensions. Adding a lift or enough weight to compress the suspension throws camber off, which hurts control and wears tires early. Adjusting the blocks puts it back where it belongs.
Preinstalled Ball Joint Options
Choose your year (2014-2018 or 2019-2023), then pick a ball joint in "Need Preinstalled Ball Joints?" and it comes installed. If you choose "I will do the work myself and reuse existing," you must reuse your stock ball joints.
- Heavy-Duty 4340 Chromoly Steel: hardened 4340 VAR steel with zinc plating, a grease zerk and an adjustable design, tested to handle double the pressure of an OEM joint. A good fit for riders doing jumps and chasing hills.
- Super Duty 300M: the strongest ball joint material available, 300M grade steel, in an adjustable steel-on-steel design with an easy-access grease zerk. Rated 2.25x stronger than stock.
- Keller Performance: a threaded two-piece joint with no snap ring that's virtually impossible to pull out, the top option for the biggest tires and hardest use.
Choosing a Ball Joint for a Big-Tire Build
Sidewinders are usually paired with 32" to 34" tires, and bigger tires put more leverage on the ball joints on every landing and every rock. The lighter Standard Duty joint isn't offered on this arm. Heavy-Duty 4340 is a strong, adjustable step up from stock for most riders. Super Duty 300M is the answer if you drive aggressively and want the most strength in a conventional joint. Keller is the premium pick for the heaviest use, because its threaded design takes snap rings and press fits out of the equation.
What the Tapered Box Does
The tapered steel design gives the arm a low-profile shape that adds ground clearance, and the boxed plate construction gives it a wide, flat underside that tends to slide over rocks and logs instead of catching on them the way a round tube can. Paired with the high-clearance bends, you get an arm that clears more and shrugs off the hits that used to bend stock arms.
Year-Specific Versions
The 2014-2018 and 2019-2023 XP 1000 use different arm versions, so the year option on this listing matters. Each year range has its own install guide, both linked below. If you're not sure which you have, check the model year on your VIN plate before ordering.
Before You Ride
Check tire clearance at full lock with the suspension compressed, since the forward offset changes where the tire sits. If anything rubs, wheel spacers or wheels with a different offset usually solve it. A front-end alignment after installation sets toe correctly for the new arm geometry and protects your tires. Re-torque the pivot bolts and ball joint hardware after the first ride, and set camber with the pivot blocks if you've changed ride height.
What's in the Box

Who It's For and What Pairs Well
Sidewinders are for show-and-go builds running 32" to 34" tires. Pair them with heavy-duty axles from RZR XP 1000 axles and CVs, heavy-duty tie rods from RZR XP 1000 steering parts, and extended rear trailing arms in RZR XP 1000 trailing arms. 4-seat owners: RZR XP 4 1000 A-arms.
