Flip down glass windshields have a reputation for cracking. This one for the Polaris RZR XP Turbo is engineered to change that, with a steel frame, rubber cushioning and sealed edges that protect the glass. Raise it for full protection from the elements or lower it to feel the breeze. It's DOT-approved laminated glass with a wide viewing angle, and it comes with a manual wiper and a vent.
Highlights
- DOT-approved glass with a wide viewing angle
- Powder-coated steel frame reinforces glass and prevents cracks
- Manual wiper included
- Wiper mounting points on driver and passenger sides
- Rubber gaskets prevent leaks and rattles
- Injection-molded vent
- Rubber straps hold the lowered windshield secure
- Glass comes preinstalled in the frame
Steel Instead of Aluminum
Most flip down frames are aluminum. Steel is stronger and flexes less, so it doesn't wiggle or vibrate and sends fewer vibrations into the glass. Less vibration means fewer cracks.
Cushioned When Lowered
A flip down windshield is most vulnerable when it's down. Rubber straps hold it and rubber bumpers support it, absorbing bumps. The edges are wrapped in seal that soaks up leftover vibration and keeps out water and debris, creating a soft cradle for the glass.
Wipers and Venting
Choose a driver's side wiper or both driver and passenger wipers in the menu. On days that are nice but not quite nice enough to flip it down, pop the vent open for a breeze.
Everything Included
The glass comes preinstalled in the steel frame, and all hardware is included, so installation is quick.
Choose Your Year
Select 2016-2018 or 2019-2021 to match your machine.
Why Glass?
Polycarbonate scratches over time, especially when you wipe off dust and mud. Laminated glass resists scratching, stays clear for the life of the machine and works with a wiper, just like a car windshield. That's why it's the top choice for riders who use their RZR on muddy, dusty trails or in the rain.
Engineered to Last
The steel frame, rubber cushioning and sealed edges work together to keep vibration away from the glass, which is the main reason flip down glass windshields crack. It's the kind of engineering that makes this windshield truly durable.
Clear View in Any Weather
When rain or mud hits a plastic windshield, you're stuck squinting until you stop to clean it. With glass and a wiper, a quick swipe clears your line of sight while you keep moving. The wide viewing angle gives you a full view of the trail ahead, and the gaskets keep water out of the cab.
Flip It Down in Seconds
When the weather clears, release the latches and lower the windshield onto its rubber supports, then strap it down. Raising it again takes just as little time, so you can adjust as conditions change throughout the day.
