A glass windshield gives a Polaris RZR XP 1000 the clearest, most scratch-free view you can get, but most glass windshields are fixed, so you're stuck behind them on hot days. This flip down glass windshield lets you have both. It locks upright as a full DOT-approved laminated glass windshield, or lowers completely for open-air riding, and it's built on a powder-coated steel frame designed so the glass doesn't crack when you flip it. It fits the 2014-2023 XP 1000 and XP 4 1000.

Two Positions, Full Control
The windshield moves between two positions: locked upright like a standard windshield, or fully lowered. Close it for protection from rain, cold and dust, or drop it when you want to feel the breeze. For days in between, pop the BreezeRite vent open for a controlled stream of fresh air without lowering the glass.
Why Steel
Steel is more rigid than aluminum, and that rigidity cuts down on the vibrations that can crack glass, especially when the windshield is flipped down and moving around on rough ground. The glass sits in Secure Seal Technology gaskets that absorb the vibration that's left. The frame is powder coated against rust and corrosion.
Protected When Lowered
When the windshield is down, high-strength rubber straps hold it and absorb impacts from bumpy trails so the shock doesn't travel into the glass, and rubber bumpers support it. The Secure Seal gasket wraps the glass on every side, cushioning it from impacts and keeping water out when it's upright.
Glass or Polycarbonate?
Polycarbonate is lighter and nearly impossible to break, but it scratches over time, especially when you wipe dust off it. Laminated glass stays clear for years and works with a wiper, which is why it's the choice for riders in rain, snow and dusty conditions. The tradeoff has always been that glass can crack, which is exactly what the steel frame, gaskets and rubber straps on this windshield are designed to prevent.
Wipers and Vent
There are two built-in wiper locations, one on each side. A single manual wiper is included to keep your line of sight clear. If you want both sides covered, choose the "Driver & Passenger Side Wipers" option. The injection-molded BreezeRite vent gives you airflow control on mild days.
