Why Bigger Tires Need Clutch Work
A taller tire acts like a taller gear. The stock clutch still shifts as if the tires were factory size, so the engine falls out of its power band, the belt slips at engagement and heat builds in the belt and clutch. A clutch kit changes when and how hard the clutch engages and shifts, putting the engine back where it makes torque. That's how you get the acceleration back and stop cooking belts.
Trail or Mud: Picking Your Kit

Warthog Magnetic Adjustable Weights
Every machine and rider is a little different. The Warthog weights drop in easily and let you add or remove weight to move engagement and shift points, so you can dial in the kit for your exact load, tire and riding style. That makes it simple to adjust later if you change tires or start carrying more gear.
Calibrated for Your Elevation
Air density changes how the engine makes power, so clutch kits are tuned by elevation. This kit is set up for riding from sea level to 3,000 ft, which covers most of the country. It's designed for machines without a gear reduction; if you've installed reduction gears or portal hubs, your clutch needs a different calibration.
Only What You Need

Installation Notes
Remove the clutch cover, disassemble the primary clutch, install the springs and weights from the kit and reassemble to spec. A clutch puller and spring compressor make the job easier. Break in the belt gently afterward and adjust the weights if engagement needs fine-tuning.
