The Polaris RZR XP Turbo S has plenty of power to roll through ditches and over logs, right up until an axle lets go. The Rhino 2.0 Heavy-Duty Axle is a stock-length replacement built specifically for the Turbo S, with end-to-end 4340 chromoly, a 4 mm larger shaft and bigger CV joints that run cooler at high angles. Order the front or rear axle you need.
Highlights
- 4340 chromoly from tip to tip with a proprietary heat treatment
- Shaft 4 mm larger than stock
- Larger CV components that stay cooler at high articulation angles
- Stronger than the stock axle
- Field and lab tested for strength and endurance
- 18-month warranty, longer than the typical 12 months
- Front or rear
The Rhino 2.0 Formula
Three things set Rhino 2.0 apart: a massive 4 mm increase in shaft size, chromoly construction from end to end, and a proprietary heat treatment. Together they give a tougher shaft and CVs that keep their cool when the suspension is working hard.
Strong, but Not Too Strong
An axle that never breaks just moves the failure somewhere more expensive. Rhino 2.0 is designed to be much tougher than stock while still giving way before your differential does, protecting the most costly part of the drivetrain.
Designed, Built and Tested by the Maker
These axles are engineered, tested and manufactured in-house, then proven both in the lab and on real trails around the country. That testing is why they carry an 18-month warranty: ride hard, ride often and test their limits.
Signs an Axle Is Wearing Out
- Clicking or popping when turning under power, usually a worn outer CV
- Vibration that grows with speed, often from a worn inner CV
- A torn boot slinging grease on the knuckle or A-arm
A torn boot lets dirt and water into the joint, and the CV won't last long after that. Replacing the axle early saves you from a breakdown on the trail.
Which Axle Option Fits You
Rhino 2.0 sits in the middle of the lineup. It's a big step up from stock for a fair price, the right pick for most trail riders and stock-to-mild builds. If you run very large tires, a lift or portals and keep breaking parts, the X300 is worth the extra cost.
