A 10" lift puts a Polaris RZR XP Turbo's axles at angles the stock shafts were never meant to run. This Rhino 2.0 Big Lift Axle is made specifically for the RZR XP Turbo 10" Lift Kit, at the right length and with CVs that are happy at steep angles. It's heat-treated 4340 chromoly, twice as strong as stock, so the lifted machine can put its power down on big tires.

The Next Generation of Rhino
Rhino 2.0 comes from more than ten years of axle and suspension work. The design maximizes the CV and shaft size within the space available, and pairs that with a chromoly alloy and heat treatment developed in-house. The result is an axle that gives you the confidence to point a lifted Turbo at hard terrain without overspending on a super-duty shaft. In testing, its strength is comparable to super-duty axles in the $550 to $900 range.
Strength and Longevity
Two goals drove the design: overall strength and long life. 4340 chromoly absorbs energy without breaking and has a high twist yield, so a hard hit flexes the shaft and lets it spring back rather than breaking a differential. The axles are tested in simulations and on real terrain, from fast desert runs to rock crawling, and they need no break-in.
Why a Lift-Specific Length Matters
When the suspension geometry changes, the distance between the differential and the hub changes too. An axle that's even a little short can pull apart at full droop, and one that's long can bottom out the CV. These are cut to the 10" lift kit's geometry, so the plunge stays in range through the whole stroke.
Spares Worth Carrying
Lifted machines on big tires are hard on axles, so many owners keep a front and a rear in the bed. Because each shaft is sold individually and built to the same length as the kit's originals, swapping one on the trail is simple.
Keeping a Lifted Machine Rolling
Steep angles put the CV joints under constant load, so boots matter more on a lifted Turbo. Inspect them before each ride, especially after crawling rocks or brush that can slice rubber. If one tears, replace it before dirt gets into the joint. A clicking noise in turns or new vibration at speed is the sign to swap in a fresh axle.
Strong Without Going Overboard
A super-duty axle is overkill for many lifted trail machines, and a stock axle is too weak. Rhino 2.0 sits in the middle: heavy-duty strength from heat-treated chromoly and larger CVs at a price that makes carrying a spare realistic. If you want the strongest shaft available for the lift, the X300 version is the step up.
Fitment Notes
- Fits 2016-2021 RZR XP Turbo and XP 4 Turbo with the RZR XP Turbo 10" Lift Kit
- Only works with that 10" lift kit
- Not compatible with anti-lock brake systems (ABS)
- Rear axles may need minor grinding on Turbo models
What's in the Box
- (1) Rhino 2.0 big lift axle, front or rear as selected
Who It's For and What Pairs Well
For Turbo owners running or building the 10" lift. Find the kit itself in RZR XP Turbo lift kits, and if you want the strongest option, compare the X300 version in RZR XP Turbo axles.
Fitment
| Year | Make | Model |
|---|---|---|
| 2016-2021 | Polaris | RZR XP Turbo |
| 2016-2021 | Polaris | RZR XP 4 Turbo |
- Not compatible with Anti-Lock Brake Systems (ABS)
- Rear axles may require minor grinding on Turbo models. See instructions.
Installation Notes
Support the machine, remove the wheel and hub nut, pull the old axle and slide the new one into the differential until it seats. Torque the hub nut and check that the boots clear at full travel. Rear axles on Turbo models may need minor grinding for clearance, so test fit before final assembly and touch up any bare metal.
