Synthetic winch rope needs a smooth hawse fairlead. Steel rollers are made for cable and can chew up rope. DRT's universal 6 in hawse fairlead is machined from billet 6061-T6 with a smooth rope surface, and it is much lighter than steel rollers. It fits the 6.0 in bolt pattern common to UTV winches, and it is mil-spec anodized with contrast-cut marks and logo.

Installation Notes
Remove the old fairlead, bolt the hawse fairlead to the 6.0 in pattern, and check that the rope runs centered without rubbing the bumper. Spool the rope under light tension for the first pull. Recovery safety: use rated shackles and straps, never exceed the rating of the weakest link, keep bystanders well clear of the line, and drape a damper over a winch line or strap under load. Care: wash anodized aluminum with mild soap and water. Avoid acidic or alkaline cleaners, which dull the finish.
