DRT's CAX3HM1 does two jobs on the 2017+ Maverick X3. It gives you a place to mount a ball hitch for towing light to medium-weight equipment. And because it is made from 3/16 in steel plate, much thicker than OEM, it reinforces the radius rod plate, which reduces stress on the radius rod bolts and helps prevent failures. The rear suspension also feels stiffer and more controlled.

Who It's For and What Pairs Well
For X3 owners who tow a small trailer or worry about radius rod bolts.
Installation Notes
Bolt the plate to the rear of the X3 at the radius rod plate, torquing the radius rod bolts to Can-Am spec. Install a ball sized for your trailer coupler and torque its nut. Recheck all hardware after the first ride and at each service interval. Care: wash with mild soap and water, and touch up any powder-coat chips promptly so bare metal cannot corrode.
