Polaris Ranger 900 / 1000 / XP 1000 Viper V3 Winch Kit - 4,500 or 6,000 lb with Mount Plate & Wireless Remote

A winch on a Ranger gets used for a lot more than getting unstuck: dragging logs, pulling fence, lifting a snow plow. This kit pairs the Viper MA11904 Ranger mount plate with a Viper V3 winch, so you get the mount and winch in one order. Choose the 4,500 lb standard spool or the 6,000 lb wide spool; the MA11904 plate takes both bolt patterns.

Why It Makes Sense on a Ranger

• One mount plate for 2013-2026 Ranger 900 and 1000 machines, including Crew and XP models, per Moto Alliance.
• The plate takes both standard (3 x 4-7/8 in.) and wide (3 x 6.67 in.) bolt patterns, so either V3 bolts straight on.
• Black industrial powder coat on the mount to resist rust from road salt and wet hay.
• Wireless remote lets you run the winch from outside the cab, away from the rope.
• Synthetic rope is lighter than steel cable and easier on your hands in cold weather.

4,500 or 6,000 lb?

• V3 4,500 standard spool: lighter and shorter, with 40 ft of rope. Plenty for self-recovery and lifting a Denali plow on most machines.
• V3 6,000 wide spool: adds $80, a wider drum and 60 ft of rope. A good pick for heavier machines, crew cabs with a loaded bed, or anyone who winches other people out.

Installation Notes

The MA11904 plate bolts to the Ranger with the included hardware; the PDF walks through it step by step. Plan your wiring run to the battery before you start, and add the extended wiring pack if your leads come up short. Spool the synthetic rope under light tension the first time so it lays evenly on the drum.
