Running 35"+ tires means carrying a spare that will not fit the standard mount. DRT's oversize mount adds an Extreme fitment option to the DRT Pro Series Tire Carrier (P/N 20005TC03101). It lifts the spare and moves it back to clear the factory cage mounts, and includes an upgraded gas shock for the extra weight. It does not work without that carrier.

Installation Notes
Bolt the mount to your existing DRT 20005TC03101 carrier and swap in the upgraded gas shock. Check cage clearance with the spare mounted before riding. This mount only works with the DRT Pro Series Tire Carrier 20005TC03101, so check that you have that carrier before you order. With an oversized spare on, open and close the carrier a few times to confirm the gas shock holds it open fully. Before ordering, measure your spare: the overall diameter must be within the carrier's stated capacity, and a mounted spare adds real weight up high, so check strap tension and hardware torque after the first ride and at every service.
