Cold-weather riding in a 2024+ Polaris RZR XP 1000 usually ends the same way: numb fingers, a fogged windshield and a short day. This In-Dash Cab Heater changes that. It mounts inside the dash, pulls heat from the engine's hot coolant like the heater in your truck, and blows it into the cab and onto the windshield, so you can stay out as long as the engine is running.
Highlights
- Recessed into the dash; no lost legroom or cab space
- Up to 20,000 BTU at 135 CFM
- Adjustable fan speeds and 360-degree adjustable vents
- Two defrost vents with hoses for the windshield
- Built-in shutoff valve
- Draws just 5.2 amps at 13.6 volts
- IP67 rated against dust and water
- High-grade radiator hoses rated from -40°F to 285°F
- Rocker switch, hoses, wiring and hardware included
Real Heat From the Engine
Because the heat comes from coolant the engine is already warming, the heater doesn't need a big electrical load to work. Only the fan uses power, and at 5.2 amps it's easy on the charging system. The longer you ride, the hotter the coolant and the warmer the cab. That's the difference between a coolant heater and the small electric units that barely take the chill off.
Defrost Without Scraping
Two dedicated defrost vents aim warm air at the windshield, clearing frost and fog without you lifting a finger. All of the hoses and internal parts tuck under the dash, so the finished install looks factory.
Speed Up the Heat With Add-Ons
Use the two option pickers to add either or both upgrades. Each one adds to the price, so pick only what you need:
| Add-on | What it does | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Quick-Start Flow Valve | Diverts all coolant to the heater core while the engine is cold, then opens automatically to feed the radiator once warm | Warm air about twice as fast |
| Idle Flow Pump | Actively pumps coolant at idle and slow speeds | Hot air in under 30 seconds, even when crawling |
Combine both for the most heat in the least time during slow, stop-and-go riding like hunting, ice fishing or plowing.
Built for Temperature Extremes
The radiator hoses are rated from -40°F to 285°F, so they stay flexible on the coldest morning and hold up next to a hot engine. The IP67 rating means washdowns, slush and creek crossings won't take out the blower, and the shutoff valve lets you take the heater out of the coolant loop in summer.

Who It's For and What Pairs Well
For 2024+ RZR XP and XP 4 owners who ride, hunt or work through the winter. A heater works best in a closed cab, so add a front and rear windshield from 2024+ RZR XP windshields and doors from 2024+ RZR XP doors.

Installation Notes
The heater mounts in the dash, and you'll splice it into the coolant lines, route the defrost hoses and wire the rocker switch. After installation, bleed the air out of the cooling system and top off coolant before riding. The Quick-Start Flow Valve has its own instruction sheet, linked below.
