Put a front windshield on a 2024+ Polaris RZR XP 1000 and you may notice something odd: the cab gets dustier, not cleaner. Moving air creates low pressure behind the windshield, and dust from the rear tires gets sucked forward into the cab. This Rear Windshield closes the back of the cage, balances that pressure and keeps flying mud and debris from coming over the bed.
Highlights
- Eliminates the dust suction created by running a front windshield alone
- Blocks mud and debris thrown up behind the seats
- 1/4" polycarbonate, about 250x stronger than glass and 25x stronger than acrylic
- Clear, light tint or dark tint
- Cut to the contours of the 2024+ RZR XP cage
- Comes preassembled with straps and brackets for a quick install
- Works with most soft and hard tops; made in the USA; 1-year manufacturer warranty
Pick Your Tint
| Option | Why choose it |
|---|---|
| Standard Polycarbonate - Clear | Best rear visibility and the lowest price |
| Standard Polycarbonate - Light Tint | Takes the edge off sun glare while keeping a good view behind |
| Standard Polycarbonate - Dark Tint | Most privacy and sun blocking, with a sleek look from outside |
Why the Back Matters
Most riders think of the windshield as a front-only accessory. But on dry trails the area just behind the seats is where dust enters the cab. Closing it off means cleaner seats, a cleaner dash and less grit in your eyes and lungs. It also stops mud and rocks thrown by your own rear tires, or the machine behind you, from landing in the cab.
Secure and Quiet
The panel is precision cut to the rear cage, and a full-length rubber bulb seal sits between polycarbonate and tubing so there's no rattle over rough ground. Heavy-duty straps and brackets hold it tight, and because it ships preassembled, it goes on in minutes.
What's in the Box
- Preassembled 1/4" polycarbonate rear windshield with bulb seal
- Heavy-duty straps, brackets and hardware
Who It's For and What Pairs Well
A must for anyone already running a full, vented or flip front windshield on a 2024+ RZR XP or XP 4. Find a front panel to match in our 2024+ RZR XP windshields, and if you're closing the cab for winter, look at doors in 2024+ RZR XP doors and a heater in RZR XP 1000 2024+ interior accessories.
Fitment
| Year | Make | Model |
|---|---|---|
| 2024+ | Polaris | RZR XP |
| 2024+ | Polaris | RZR XP 4 |
Note: Can be used with most soft and hard tops
Installation Notes
Because the windshield arrives preassembled, installation is mostly positioning the panel against the rear cage and tightening the straps and brackets evenly. Allow 15 to 30 minutes. Clean with water and a microfiber cloth; the standard polycarbonate has no hard coat, so avoid dry wiping when it's dusty.
