Broken axles and popped CVs are the most common way a hard-ridden Polaris RZR XP 1000 ends up on a trailer. The Rhino X300 takes a different approach than a stiffer shaft: its 300M alloy Flexshaft twists under a torque spike that would snap other axles, then springs back to its original shape. That protects the CVs, differential and the rest of the drivetrain, which are far more expensive to replace than an axle. This is the stock-length X300 for the XP 1000 and XP 4 1000, including High Lifter and Trails & Rocks editions, sold individually for the front or rear.
Why You'll Love It
- 300M Flexshaft technology flexes to absorb hard impacts
- 300M and 4340 chromoly CVs maximize strength at the joints
- Maximized CV, spider and cage size for superior strength
- Reduces strain on CVs and drivetrain components
- CVs packed with proprietary high-temperature grease to control heat under pressure
It's All About the Flex
X300 is about more than brute strength. When it's hit with a torque load that would break other axles, the 300M shaft twists until the load is gone and then returns to its original position. That Flexshaft action relieves much of the stress other axles would pass straight to the CVs and differential, so you get CVs that don't break, a drivetrain that won't buckle, and less wear on the more valuable parts.
What Makes 300M Special
300M is an aircraft-grade alloy steel chosen for its high strength, its higher silicon content and its vanadium. Those properties, combined with the X300's specific design, make its signature flex possible, so hard riding and serious modification don't end in breakdowns.
Built for Big Tires and Big Rides
An axle that flexes means you can run bigger tires and bigger lifts and ride harder without snapping parts. If you're tired of breaking things, X300 is for you. For lifts of 7-10 inches, choose the X300 Big Lift Kit axle instead of this stock-length version.
Choosing the Right Axle
Select the axle location (front or rear), the year range, and the RZR model (Standard, High Lifter or Trails and Rocks). The front axle replaces OEM part numbers 1333123, 1333283, 1333420, 1334308 and 1333434, and the rear replaces 1333124, 1333439, 1333718, 1333944, 1334307 and 1334490. Note: not compatible with anti-lock brake systems (ABS).
What's in the Box
- One X300 axle for the selected location, CVs assembled and greased
Who It's For and What Pairs Well
This is for big-tire RZRs, aggressive trail riders and anyone who has already broken a stock axle. Browse front and rear options in RZR XP 1000 axles and CVs (4-seat: RZR XP 4 1000 axles and CVs). Limit straps from RZR XP 1000 limit straps keep the CVs out of extreme angles at full droop, and a clutch kit from RZR XP 1000 clutch kits keeps the power where bigger tires need it.
